About Me[edit | edit source]

I am a PhD scholar at the Department of Physiotherapy, Manipal College of Health Professions. Before joining the PhD program, I worked as a freelance physiotherapist in Mumbai for a year. I started my professional career working as a Lecturer at the Department of Physiotherapy, Father Muller College of Allied Health Sciences, from January 2019 to November 2020. I have completed my undergraduate and postgraduate studies from the same institute with an excellent academic record, securing the first rank in all four years of the Bachelor of Physiotherapy course and being awarded the Best Outgoing Student of my batch. During my postgraduate studies, I specialized in Neurological and Psychosomatic Disorders. I have seen numerous patients during my career, and each has been a valuable teacher. I voraciously scour the internet daily to keep myself updated with multiple physiotherapy resources available online. I have enjoyed teaching undergraduate students and providing clinical training to physiotherapy interns. I have a keen interest in research and physiotherapy education. I firmly believe that evidence-based practice is the only way to enhance physiotherapy care, with high-quality research-guided education of physiotherapy students.
