Day 1 - 2 Hours Post Injury[edit | edit source]

  • ASIA Assessment - C4 ASIA A
  • No Motor or Sensory Function below Lesion

Day 2 - 28 Hours Post Injury[edit | edit source]

  • Spinal Fixation at C4 - C8 with Spinal Decompression
  • ASIA Assessment - C4 ASIA A

Day 3 - 72 Hours Post Injury[edit | edit source]

  • ASIA Assessment - C4 ASIA B 
  • Some Returned Sensation Lower Limb but Altered
  • Minimal Motor Function below Level
  • Elbow Flexors Grade 1 Right

Day 7[edit | edit source]

  • ASIA Assessment - C5 ASIA B
  • Increased Sensation S2 - S5 below Lesion
  • Increased Motor Function Bilaterally
  • Elbow Flexors Grade 2 Right, Grade 1 Left
  • Wrist Extensors Grade 1 Right, Grade 1 Left

  • Scheduled for Transfer to Spinal Unit for Ongoing Management
