About Me[edit | edit source]
I am a qualified physiotherapist from South Africa. In addition to my Physiotherapy degree, I have completed a certificate in pain management and I am currently studying towards a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health.
Over the past 10 years, I have had the privilege of working in three different countries (South Africa, New Zealand & Malawi) and have seen how valuable our profession can be in various different contexts. There is such a great need for rehabilitation everywhere and I dream of seeing universal healthcare becoming a reality, especially with regards to rehabilitation. I am passionate about community rehabilitation and prevention programs, as well as mental health and chronic pain conditions.
As a volunteer I hope to contribute to the making current research more accessible to physiotherapists globally, while furthering my content writing and editing skills.
