Introduction[edit | edit source]
Hip Outcome Score (HOS) is a patient-reported outcome measure designed to assess the outcome of treatment intervention for individuals with acetabular tears.[1]

The purpose of this instrument was used to assess self-reported functional status of patient with labral tear. Therefore, according to the terms defined by the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health model items that related to activity and participation were included whereas items relating to body structure and function (i.e., symptoms) were not considered.[1][1]
