Metastatic Bone Disease (MBD) is a secondary cancer that has spread or metastasised to the bone from a cancerous organ.

Primary cancers that most commonly metastasise to bone include cancers of the:

  • Lungs
  • Breasts
  • Thyroid
  • Kidneys
  • Prostate.
