Greetings to all my fellow physical therapists all over the world! I am Chester Ryan R. Azurin, MSPT, PTRP,SCFHS-PT,DMS, CA. Currently based in Massachusetts, United States of America.
I have a vast experience in different settings including acute rehab (inpatient, tertiary hospitals), outpatient rehab (tertiary hospitals and rehab centers), skilled nursing facilities (SNF) and schools (school based physical therapy programs), spanning diverse population involving early and middle stage adults, geriatrics, pediatrics, as well as the professional and amateur athletes with a wide variety of cases handled ranging from Orthopedic, Neurologic, Sports Related Injuries, Cumulative Trauma Disorders, Work Related Injuries, Autoimmune Diseases, Progressive and Non-progressive Musculoskeletal and Neurologic Disorders, Cardiac and Pulmonary Conditions.
I was the Vice President of the Rehabilitation Sciences Unit of the St. Luke's Medical Center Global City. A Senior Physical Therapist with more than twenty one years of straight, solid clinical experience. I am licensed here in the United States of America by the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy (State of Massachusetts by the Massachusetts Board of Allied Health Professions, State of Florida by the Florida Board of Physical Therapy), in Saudi Arabia by the Saudi Commission on Health Specialties (formerly Saudi Council for Health Specialties) and in the Republic of the Philippines by the Professional Regulation Commission. Certified Acupuncturist by the Philippine Acupuncture Association and Philippine Institute of Traditional and Alternative Healthcare - Department of Health, and a Certified Dorn Method Specialist by the Dorn Method International. I am a proud member of the World Confederation for Physical Therapy, Saudi Physical Therapy Association and a lifetime member of the Philippine Physical Therapy Association. A proud alumnus of the Manila Central University which bears the motto "IN SCIENTIA SOLIDARITAS" (SOLIDARITY IN SCIENCE).
