Alyssa Brooks-Wells, PT, DPT, CIDN, AIB-VRC
Dr. Alyssa’s love for science and movement led her to pursue a career as a Physical Therapist. She graduated from Slippery Rock University with her doctorate in 2020 and is currently practicing in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA. Some of her future goals include further training and education in TMJ dysfunction and postural training.
Dr. Alyssa has advanced training in vestibular rehabilitation and concussion management. She enjoys helping patients with dizziness, vertigo, headaches, balance dysfunctions, and post-concussion syndrome return with confidence to what they love doing most. She also specializes in the management of orthopedic and sports injuries and aims to treat holistically and find the root cause of pain and dysfunction for her patients.
In addition to her work as a physical therapist, Alyssa enjoys yoga and meditation, paddleboarding, DIY projects, reading, and walks with her dog, Roo.
