=== Table of contents  ===

The table of contents (TOC) will appear automatically after more than three section headings are used. &nbsp;Typically, the table reproduces and numbers these headings.

On some occasions you may need to force the TOC to appear, you can do this by adding the following in wikitext: &nbsp;&nbsp;
<pre>__FORCETOC__ </pre>
[http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:Table_of_contents See Table of contents help]

Editor credits

The original editor/s is/are the first person/people that contributed significant content to that page (this person can be identified by looking at the page history - click the History tab). They are credited with a link to their profile page in the grey box at the top right of the article.

The editor credits (EC) are manually added to each page with the following wikitext:
<pre>&lt;div class="editorbox"&gt;
'''Original Editor ''' [[User:Username|Username]]

'''Top Contributors''' - {{Special:Contributors/{{FULLPAGENAME}}}}
&lt;/div&gt;</pre>
Note: an example of how this <nowiki>[[User:Username|Name as it will appear in the text]]</nowiki> may look is <nowiki>[[User:Rachael Lowe|Rachael Lowe]]</nowiki>. &nbsp;Replace 'Username' and with that persons name.

Introduction[edit | edit source]

These quality standards are best practices for content creation, layout and formatting of Physiopedia pages. Editors should attempt to follow these guidelines, though they are best treated with common sense, and occasional exceptions may apply.

Content Guidelines
[edit | edit source]

Content on Physiopedia pages should comply with these guidelines:

Page Layout Recommendations[edit | edit source]

The general layout for the page should include the table of contents and editor credits at the top, followed by the main content for the page, related research, resources and references, as shown below:

Original Editor - The original editor is the first person to contribute significant content to the page. This person can be identified by looking at the History tab. They are credited with a link to their profile page. Top Contributors - The top 5 contributors are automatically added with the following wikitext {{Special:Contributors/{{FULLPAGENAME}}}}

Heading[edit | edit source]

The page content should be divided up by appropriate sub-headings as demonstrated on this page and in wikitext below. Please try not to use more than 3 sub-headings. See formatting help

Sub-heading 1[edit | edit source]

Bulleted lists must be added with wikitext or the list functions in the editing tool bar. See formatting help:

  • xxx
  • xx
  • x

Sub-heading  2[edit | edit source]

Numbered lists must be added with wikitext or the list functions in the editing tool bar. See formatting help:

  1. xxx
  2. xx
  3. x
