I am a full time DPT student from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey/Rutgers. I received my BA from Kean University in biology and a minor in chemistry. I am actively involved in the New Jersey chapter of the APTA including the New Jersey Student Assembly. I have taken my involvement to the next level sitting on two projects committees for the National Student Assembly, including the Scholarships and Opportunities and Student Special Interest Groups project committees. I am currently in the process of helping to develop UMDNJ/Rutgers very first Community Participatory Physical Therapy Clinic Student Board. I have attended several professional physical therapy conferences including NSC, CSM and The Federal Advocacy Forum and have completed several CE courses over the past year. Most recently I have placed my application to run for a position on the APTA National Student Assembly Board of Directors.

My name is Thomas Janicky, I am a second year DPT student at UMDNJ/Rutgers in Newark, NJ. I recieved my B.A. in Biology from Kean University in 2013. I like to keep active by runnnig, biking, swimming and competing in the occasional endurance race. My extra curricular activites include volunteering at UMDNJ's community participatory clinic and volunteering at my local hospital. I am currently on my first clinical affiliation at an outpatient ortho clinic.
