About Me[edit | edit source]

Profile pic.JPG

I’m an orthopedic physiotherapist from Cairo.
I spent the internship year in Cairo University's teaching hospitals, where I moved between intensive care, emergency, orthopedic, neurology, and pediatrics departments.
After that I started working on a rehabilitation clinic. I became passionate for sports injuries and manual therapy, and wanted to develop a better understanding for movement in sports. I loved the everyday challenges when I had to transform biomechanics into a practical advice for athletic patients, hoping to improve their performance or minimize injury or pain.
I also worked in a pediatrics clinic. I loved taking the ordinary session to another level where every exercise is turned into a game to engage the child and motivate him/her. Working with children motivated me to learn about child psychology, which helped me to give better therapy.
I also studied the muscle imbalance ‘’Janda’’ approach and worked in a manual therapy clinic.
Currently I’m studying a master course in the orthopedic department at Cairo University.
One of my dreams is to become an academic teacher.
I am an addict reader; I love English classics and philosophy. But I read everything I put my hands on.
My favorite time is when I bake, I find it therapeutic. I recently started a blog where I share my recipes and thoughts.
