Marcella is a San Diego native who earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from San Diego State University in 2015. Shortly following graduation Marcella completed a six-month Pilates comprehensive program at Body Arts and Science International (BASI), under the instruction of Rael Isacowitz, founder of BASI Pilates. After spending the first year of her physical therapy career in San Francisco she left the Bay Area to fulfill her dreams of living closer to the Sierra Mountains and pursuing her professional education goals. Marcella joined the team at Body Logic Physical Therapy in 2016 to begin her orthopedic residency training through the Evidence in Motion School of Health Professionals. Drawing from her personal injury experiences and background in sports and Pilates Marcella is able to effectively manage and treat orthopedic injuries. She strives to create a gratifying therapeutic relationship in which her patient’s can actively participate in their rehabilitation while learning and having a bit of fun along the way. In her free time Marcella enjoys playing soccer, Pilates, snowboarding, hiking, cooking and attending live music concerts. (http://bodylogicphysicaltherapy.com/marcella-scholl/)
