About Me[edit | edit source]

I was born and raised in South Africa. I studied Physiotherapy at the University of Pretoria, and whilst studying completed my Basi- pilates teacher course. In 2014 I started with my community service at a rural hospital in Mpumalanga, and decided to prolong my journey there. I had the best of times there, broaden my general knowledge, sharpened all my skills and learned a lot every single day. I had the privilege to build experience in the following fields: ICU, NICU (including KMC and preventative screening clinics), Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, Surgical, Medical, Out-patients and Community outreaches and projects.

During my work as clinical physiotherapist, I quickly realised that I like Orthopaedic and musculoskeletal related cases a bit more than the other fields of Physiotherapy. After a short vacation in Spain- I quickly decided to enrol as a Manual Osteopath student. (It was also one of the best decisions I have ever made.) During my Osteopathic studies my perception on holistic treatment and rehab strengthened and my toolbox for everyday treatments got filled up again.

I am all for promoting balanced, active and healthy lifestyles- not only by word of mouth, but through my own lifestyle as well.
