I am a Physical Therapy student at Bellarmine University in Louisville, KY. &nbsp;I recently graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science. &nbsp;I was involved in Red Tassel Mortar Board, an honor's society, and Epsilon Sigma Alpha. During my time at Illinois State, I gained experience in creating exercise prescriptions, ten repetition maximal testing, balance and gain maneuver assessments, and assessing vital signs.&nbsp;<br>

I was an intern at Alliance Rehab in OakBrook, IL, where I assisted dementia, Parkinson's, and total care residents in exercise programs. &nbsp;I gained experience in interaction with the geriatric population, as well as, experience in creating programs for this specific population. &nbsp;I created group exercises classes and a presentation on nutrition and the brain. &nbsp;I have learned a great deal about exercise and how the body reacts to exercise through interaction with professionals and social networking. &nbsp;This lead me to an interest in the geriatric population and physical therapy in nursing homes.

I am a Physical Therapy student at Bellarmine University in Louisville, KY.  I recently graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science.  I was involved in Red Tassel Mortar Board, an honor's society, and Epsilon Sigma Alpha.
