User:Jeff Hartman

Jeff Hartman is an assistant professor and co-founder of the Global Health committee in the Department of Physical Therapy and Human Movement Sciences at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL. He is Orthopedic Residency trained and has a Masters in Public Health from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. He also received a certificate in Global Health and has gone on to blend his physical therapy and public health backgrounds into an extensive global health career. Dr. Hartman has worked and volunteered in 10 different countries and was the stateside director of operations for the Hillside Clinic in Southern Belize for 5 years. During his tenure he was instrumental in the founding of a community-based rehabilitation program that currently serves as an education center for students from around the world. He has been a dedicated member of the American Physical Therapy Association’s Global Health Special Interest Group since 2003.
