Currently, I live in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, where I am about to finish (graduation due in November 2020) a second study program: BSc Hons in Physiotherapy. During my experience as a student, I have been involved in different areas of our profession (orthopaedics, neurology, sports physiotherapy and on-ward physiotherapy), and had the chance to practise in The Netherlands, Italy and Spain. The interest in the research-related aspects of physiotherapy and the need of being constantly up-to-date with the latest evidence, motivated me in starting a volunteering project with Physiopedia, aiming to contribute to the improvement of this amazing platform.

Hi there!

My name is Gabriele Dara.

I was born and raised in Italy where I also completed my first BSc in Sports Science at the University of Palermo.

Currently, I live in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, where I recently graduated as a Physiotherapist (BSc Hons in Physiotherapy).

The physiotherapy areas which are of my interest are ageing and Musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Besides physiotherapy, I like sports (especially tennis and football) and learning new languages.

Feel free to contact me on LinkedIn if you want to find out more about me.
