About Me
I am currently a Doctor of Physical Therapy student at Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky, graduating in May 2016. I am particularly interested in orthopedic injuries, sports medicine and rehabilitation of the lower extremities. My passion for helping and teaching others is what initially drew me to the field of physical therapy. Improving a person's quality of life is something that is extrememly rewarding to me. This became apparent while working as an aide at Physiotherapy Associates in Greenbelt, Maryland. From 2010-2013 I was forunate to work under a team of therapists with a variety of specialites ranging from hand therapy to vestibular rehabilitation, and help many patients along the way.
I am excited to learn as much as possible about the practice of physical therapy through my coursework and clinical experiences over the next three years. It is my hope that I can make a difference in the lives of every patient that I will have the opportunity to work with over my career in the field.
