About Me

Hello there! I am Adhira and I am a registered physiotherapist from Toronto, Canada. I decided to be a physio back in grade six when I helped my injured dog recover from a knee sprain!
I have been practising physiotherapy in Ontario Since 2014. I have completed my bachelors in physiotherapy in India. I am currently working at two busy private clinics in Toronto I handle a varied case load. I treat various orthopaedic conditions, sports injuries, motor vehicle injuries and certain neurological conditions. I perform patient evaluations, design treatment programs, and treat patients using various manual therapy techniques and functional exercises. I also focus on patient education and designing patient specific goals.
I am passionate about health and welness and enjoy health promotion. I love doing arts and crafts and travelling.

- Bachelors of Physiotherapy- Nitte Insitue Of Physiotherapy, Mangalore, India, 2008
- Clinical Internship: Nanavati Hopsital, Mumbai. The clinical internship was one of the best time of my life. I enjoyed the vast diveristy of case loads. The internship time was stressful but it was one of the best learing experiences I have ever had. It taught me to thrive under pressure and no matter what Quality patient care always came first.
