I graduated from SUNY Upstate Medical University (Syracuse, NY) in 2002 with a masters in physical therapy. I returned SUNY Upstate and attained my DPT in 2008. I have worked in an outpatient orthopedic setting for 9 years with a focus on manual therapy, pain management, spine pain and sports. I have been an adjunct professor at SUNY Upstate Medical University for 5 years and am currently a Clinical Assistant Professor at SUNY Upstate Medical University.  
Dr. Rufa is a clinical assistant professor at SUNY Upstate Medical University. He teaches biomechanics, kinesiology, manual therapy, orthopedics, spine and management.
