Leicester Cough Questionnaire

Leicester Cough Questionnaire (LCQ) is a self-reporting quality of life measure of chronic cough, developed by S.S. Birring. It consists of 19 items with a 7 point Likert response scale. It generally takes about 5 minutes to be completed. Since the first development in 2003 LCQ has been translated and validated in several languages (Dutch, French, Korean, Lithuanian, Mandarin Chinese, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish, Thai). LCQ has been used as an outcome measure for different respiratory diseases.
