Leicester Cough Questionnaire (LCQ) is a self-reporting quality of life measure of chronic cough, developed by S.S. Birring. It consists of 19 items with a 7 point Likert response scale. It generally takes about 5 minutes to be completed. Since the first development in 2003 LCQ has been translated and validated in several languages (Dutch, French, Korean, Mandarin Chinese, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish, Thai).
