Physiopedia's mission is to improve global health by promoting the free dissemination of physiotherapy related knowledge across the globe. It is about the power of physiotherapists like us to do extraordinary things for our profession, and for the wider global population.

Physiopedia isn’t a commercial website, it is a community creation, written by physiotherapists all around the world for everyone to view. You are part of our community and we ask you to protect and sustain Physiopedia.

Together, we can keep it free of charge, we can keep it open and we can keep it growing - spreading physiotherapy knowledge everywhere.

Donors like you can help us in our mission and in developing global projects that support our mission, such as educational projects in less resourced communities.

Where does your Donation go?

Physiopedia is a charity registered in the UK. All money received as a donation goes towards supporting our mission which includes:

1. Maintaining the Physiopedia website as a free and open resource for all.
2. Offering free online courses for Physiotherapists and Physical Therapists.
3. Sponsoring disadvantaged individuals to further their Physiotherapy or Physical Therapy education and professional development.

How do we spend your donation

1. Technical - website hosting and domain names
2. Administration - we are dedicated to keeping our remunerated staff to a minimum, but we do have to pay someone to complete all the daily administration tasks such as responding to emails and setting up accounts.
3. Development - we're physiotherapists so sometimes we require a bit of help from someone a little more technical!
4. Community Projects - we provide support to educational and professional projects all over the globe.
5. Education - with any surplus funds we plan to provide free education to those that otherwise wouldn't have the opportunity.
