Physiopedia relies on voluntary contributions from the global physiotherapy community to build this valuable resource.  If you are a credentialled physiotherapist you can contribute.... Physiopedia needs you!

Getting Started[edit | edit source]

Before you can contribute you should:

  1. Join Physiopedia.  This will give you an account that allows you to edit and contribute to Physiopedia. You can request an account here.
  2. Complete your profile page.  Once your account has been approved you will automatically be given a profile page in Physiopedia.  You should complete this with your professional details.  See this tutorial for help with creating your profile.
  3. Read the 'Getting Started' guide.  This tutorial will help you to start your valued contributions to Physiopedia.  See the Getting Started tutorial.

How You Can Contribute[edit | edit source]

Add to an existing article[edit | edit source]

Physiopedia has many articles which have been completed to varying degrees.  Your contributions are welcome on ANY of these articles.  You may be able to:

  • add your expert knowledge
  • update with new or more recent evidence
  • complete an unfinished article
  • improve or correct an article

Work on a requested article[edit | edit source]

There is a list of Wanted Articles in Physiopedia.  Your contribution in creating any of these articles would be very much valued.  Have a look at the list to see if there are any topics that you have expert knowledge in or are particularly interested to learn more about.  These might be the best wanted articles for you to choose to create.

Create a new article[edit | edit source]

If you have expert knowledge of a specific area of practice you might wish to contribute your knowledge to this resource by creating new pages in Physiopedia.  You will be permanently credited as the original author on articles that you have contributed the initial content to.  This will provide evidence of your professional development by way of contributions to Physiopedia.  See the tutorial on creating an article here.
