Client Characteristics 30 year old man Sam Brown Occupation - manager at Staples Spends large amounts of day working on his feet Some fine motor some gross motor Versatile king Lifting up to 70lbs daily Paperwork and a bit at the cash Wherever he’s needed 2 storey-staples (25 stairs)

Lives with a wife and son age 6 Wife works full time as a 4th grade teacher Lives in an apartment (3rd floor, there are 20 stairs but there is an elevator. It is slow and annoying, broken often) Hobbies Weekend hockey league Taken to hospital via ambulance after being involved in a MVA while driving to work During stay in hospital received care for injuries and monitored for signs of brain injury Patient stayed in hospital for 1 week before being discharged home Out-patient PT recommended with beginning of rehab to help with regain of posture control so patient can begin mobility retraining and reagin functional independence No other comorbidities, followed active healthy lifestyle Good nutrition, non-smoker, social drinker (1-2 drinks/week) Plays hockey and frequent runner
