I graduated as a physiotherapist in 2011 i worked 4 years in Italy in different field, care of elderly, football team and brain injury rehab hospital, I have always tried to build a good curriculum, improve skills and knowledge.
- 3 years in a serie A football club “ http://parmacalcio1913.com/?lang=en“, - 2 years on a private hospital for care of elderly, -1 year in a private hospital Center of excellence for the rehabilitation of severe brain injury ”http://www.sstefano.it/centro-cardinal-ferrari”. - I worked as a private physiotherapist in hydrorehabilitation and neuro-rehabilitation.
To broaden my experience and skills decided to move to the UK in 2014 and after one year as a physiotherapist assistant in a Private hospital for the rehabilitation of brain injury”https://www.rhn.org.uk/” I started working as a Band 5 physiotherapist in the UK.
I have worked extensively in several core rotations as community, general inpatient rehabilitation, Stroke, in a six month rotation basis, I supervise rehab support workers and delivered in-service training for their own competencies. I have financed my own Neuro rehabilitation development having completed a number of post-graduate UK accredited courses and reading up on research each morning before I start my working day. I have recently changed job and i am working now as a band 6 physiotherapist at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS trust based on West Middlesex University Hospital with a rotational contract in acute settings that allows me to develope new skills. I like to think that I can develop a service to deliver the best quality treatments for all patients and contribute to team development in accordance with the physiotherapy charter.
I have gained tremendous support from my Band 7 and Band 8a therapy leads. I feel I have developed good problem solving skills and interpersonal skills.
