About Me
[edit | edit source]
I grew up in a small farming town in Michigan. I graduated from Siena Heights University with a bachelors of arts in business administration. I ran cross-country and track during undergrad and was fortunate enough to qualify for seven national championships.
Upon
graduation, I pursued a career in counseling. I worked as a field instructor at a wilderness therapy program in Utah and Oregon. From there, I worked as a counselor at a therapeutic boarding school. Most recently, I have been gaining professional experience in the field of physical therapy as a PT aide at an outpatient orthopedic clinic.
Currently,
I am in my first semester of PT school at Bellarmine University. I will
graduate with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in May 2016. As of now, my
professional interests include pediatrics, running related injuries, gait
analysis, and sport specific rehab. My personal interests involve mountain
biking, trail running, nordic skiing, backpacking, rock climbing, yoga,
traveling and gardening. I live in Louisville Kentucky with my beautiful wife
Mary and daughter Cora.
