Students Step by Step Guide
This guide has been written to assist students that are taking part in a formal student project in Physiopedia. The guide will help you with setting up your account, editing pages and problem solving.
Please note that your tutor will be your first point of contact if you have any questions.
Project Instructions[edit | edit source]
Initially you will be given instructions from your tutor on the nature of your project in Physiopedia and what you will be expected to acheive.
These instructions will be outlined on a specific project page in Physiopedia which can be found listed somewhere on our main Projects page.
Get your own Physiopedia account[edit | edit source]
To make edits in Physiopedia you must have a Physiopedia account. To do this follow the instructions below:
- Sign up for a Physiopedia account for yourself by pressing the request account tab in the left sidebar. We suggest that your username is your full name.
- When you request your account inform us that you are a student and let us know what institution you attend. If you are signing up at the request of a certain instructor, let us know that too.
- Wait for email confirmation that your account has been activated.
- Once your account has been activated have a go at editing a page yourself. It is best to start by editing your profile page to give yourself a presence in Physiopedia. See our user tutorials on editing pages and editing your profile.
