About Me[edit | edit source]
I have a passion for Physical Therapy and have had the goal of becoming a PT for several years now. My first PT experience occurred when I tore my ACL in a high school basketball game my senior year. During the rehabilitation of my knee I began to really see what PT was all about. I credit my desire to become a PT on my successful experience during this first clinical experience.
I live on a 500 acre farm in Kentucky that borders the Ohio River. We grow corn, soybeans, hay, and we also raise beef cattle. I love being outside playing sports, hunting, riding four wheelers, gardening, helping my Dad on the farm, landscaping, tubing, and playing with my two dogs, Deuce and Champ. I am a pretty easy going guy that loves hanging out with my friends and family. Meteorology is a second passion of mine, and to just keep things short I'm a weather freak.
I played Basketball at Campbellsville University, where I was fortunate enough to play on the only teams in school history to advance to a National Final 4 and to win the Mid South Conference regular season championship.
I have one brother, Riley Benock, who is also in his first year of the DPT program here at Bellarmine University.
