Fall is the leading cause of injury.among elderly as well as children . Anually around three million children suffer from fall rlated injuries. There are few researches done that primarily focuses on paediatric fall assessment and preventive strategies. Majority of literature research is done on fall prevention in adults and elder population. For the past many years, a lot of padiatric fall risk assessment methods have been developed.

Inteneded population children under the age of Scale the little schimdity scale compromises of five items which assess sifferent domains of fal risk. Three out of five items are scrored 0 or 1. Which include mobility, elimination and current medication. The remaining two, menation and history of fall are scored 0, 1 or 2. Scores of each item are summed, resulting in a total score ranging from 0 to 7. Fall score equal or greater tha 3 are considered high fall risk. For ny patient being on high fall rik fall risk care plan is implemented. This plan is implemented by the nurses for patients whose little schimidity score is less than 3. Little schimidy score are evaluated three times ponts. Firstly, the sore obtained upon hospital admission, score prior ro the fall and the last proximal score obtained prior to the fall.
