Introduction[edit | edit source]
Dyslipidemia is characterized by an elevation of low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) and reduced serum high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) concentration.[1]
Differential Diagnosis[edit | edit source]
There are 4 different lipid disorders:
- Dyslipidemia
- Hyperlipidemia
- Hypercholesterolemia
- Hypertriglyceridaemia
