- Exudate
- Periwound: the area of intact skin around an open wound.
- Granulation tissue
- Hypergranulation
Wound Descriptors[edit | edit source]
- Erythema: redness of the periwound
- Streaking: the phenomena where erythema follows an arterial pathway toward the heart.
- Friable
- Induration: firmness of the tissue around a wound
- Purulent/purulence
