The differential diagnosis of hand dystonia includes the following[1]:
- Neuropathies, radiculopathies or plexopathies of the upper extremity
- Complex regional pain syndrome
- Repetitive stress injury
- Focal seizures
- Thoracic outlet syndrome
- Effects of medication
- Psychogenic movement disorders
