About Me[edit | edit source]

I live in the beautiful coastal city of Mangaluru, Karnataka, one of the southern states of India. Here, I have been working as a Lecturer at Father Muller Charitable Institutions, since January 2019. I have completed my undergraduate and postgraduate studies from the same institute with an excellent academic record. I secured the first rank in all four years of the Bachelor of Physiotherapy course at my college, and was the Best Outgoing Student of my batch. During my postgraduate studies, I specialized in Neurological and Psychosomatic Disorders. I have seen numerous neurological patients during the course of my career and each patient has been a valuable teacher. I voraciously scour the internet daily to keep myself updated with multiple Physiotherapy resources online. I am a member of the International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society since January 2020. I enjoy teaching undergraduate students and providing clinical training to interns. I have a keen interest in research and physiotherapy education and I firmly believe that evidence based practices are the only way to enhance patient care in physiotherapy along with high-quality research-guided education to future physiotherapists. I hope to pursue a Ph.D. in the near future, to aid me in this endeavour.
