User:Jenny Setchell
Dr Jenny Setchell is NHMRC Research Fellow at The University of Queensland. Her research focusses on socio-cultural aspects of physiotherapy. In the last 5 years, Setchell has produced over 40 publications; and received numerous prizes and awards for her research. She also has 20 years’ diverse clinical physiotherapy experience. She is co-founder and advisory board member of the Critical Physiotherapy Network and led development of WCPT’s policy on Diversity and Inclusion. Her co-edited book ‘Manipulating Practices: A Critical Physiotherapy Reader’ has been downloaded over 20K times since publication in 2018. Setchell has also been an acrobat and a human rights worker! She is an active member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and has AHPRA registration.
