Having originally graduated from the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in India with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy in 2003, I practiced as a Physiotherapist in India for about a year, before moving to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 2004 to be with my husband. I continued working in Al-Hammadi Hospital, Riyadh, as Staff Physiotherapist, and took a break after my first child was born in 2005. After a few assignments working in private clinics, we moved to Canada in 2008. For the next three years, I waited till my credentialing was completed, and I could take my Professional Licensing exam, and finally began to work as a Resident Physiotherapist in 2012, under the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. Soon, I got an opportunity to teach the Physiotherapists Assistant Program at a Private College in Toronto, and continued to teach and work part time as a clinician for the next 5 years. During this time, I became a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, and was able to access Physiopedia through this membership. I got my Independent License in 2013. In 2017, I decided to set up a private Physiotherapy clinic with my husband, and the practice has been growing steadily since.
