My name is Lynda Chukwu, a Nigerian. I graduated from the University of Nigeria Nsukka, Enugu State in 2014 with a degree in Medical Rehabilitation (physiotherapy) licence number MDW/'14/3478 . I completed my one year internship program in 2016 at the Usmanu Danfodyio University Teaching Hospital Sokoto, Sokoto State afterwards I went ahead to commence a National Youth Service programme which is compulsory for a every Nigerian graduate. During my service year I worked as a Physiotherapist in a government hospital supported by Medecins Sans Frontiers, there we solely managed patients affected by Noma disease (crancrum Oris). I completed my service year in 2017, stayed back with MSF for about 3 months then moved on to work with the Orthopaedic Hospital Wamakko Sokoto State where I still work as the lead physiotherapist. I am currently a member of the Nigerian Society of Physiotherapist (NSP) and I serve as the acting PRO of the Sokoto state branch.
