My name is Samantha Henson and I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy Student at Bellarmine University. In 2013, after graduating high school, I began my collegiate journey at the University of Kentucky. While there I studied abroad in Australia and participated in a medical and dental service trip to Honduras with Global Brigades. I also performed research in UK's Brain and Spinal Cord Research lab as well as did an Anesthesiology internship in Chandler Hospital. I Volunteered in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at St. Joseph hospital in Lexington, Kentucky as well as at the Ronald McDonald house. During my last semester of my undergraduate degree, I worked as a Physical Therapy Technician at ProActive therapy in Frankfort, KY.
In May of 2017 I received my Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology Exercise Science and a Biology Minor from the University of Kentucky. I am currently working on my doctorate of Physical Therapy at Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky, and am interested in outpatient orthopedics with an emphasis on sports medicine.
