About Me[edit | edit source]
I am Joseph Ayotunde Aderonmu. A graduate of physiotherapy from the Department of Medical Rehabilitation, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria.
I recently completed my one-year internship programme at Nigeria's premier teaching hospital; University College Hospital, Ibadan. There, I had a first-hand experience in the assessment, diagnosis and management of patients across seven specialties of physiotherapy, which included neurology, cardiopulmonary, orthopaedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, women's health, community and health promotion.
I am also a writer with experience in technical writing, academic writing and carrying out literature searches on medical repositories.
I look forward to learning more about physiotherapy and contributing my quota to the large evidence-based information Physiopedia provides to physical therapists globally.
