I am a current student in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky. During my undergraduate career, I was able to participate in an twelve week internship at Frazier Rehab Institute that allowed for a greater understanding of the profession that I am about to enter. The internship allowed for me to gain a more hands on experience prior to entering Bellarmine's DPT program. By shadowing in spinal cord rehabilitation, pediatrics, and orthopedics I have been able to gain a broad perspective of the field of physical therapy.<br> | |||
