About Me[edit | edit source]
I am currently in my first year of graduate school at Bellarmine University (Louisville, KY) obtaining my Doctor of Physical Therapy. I received my Bachelors of Science from Saint Joseph's College (Rensselaer, IN) in Biology-Chemistry, while also fulfilling the requirements to earn a double minor in Health Therapy and Athletic Training. Throughout my time at Saint Joseph's College, I was involved in many different extra-curricular programs. I was a four year, varsity track and field athlete, where I was a team captain. In my senior season of competition I finished nationally ranked, twenty-eighth, in women’s hammer throw for Division II.
I was also actively involved in my institutions Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), in which I was a representative, vice-president and president. Due to this active involvement, Saint Joseph’s College Faculty-Athletic Representative nominated me to become the National SAAC Representative for the Great Lakes Valley Conference, a position in which I received and still hold today. In addition to my conference representation, I am the National Student-Athlete Reinstatement Committee Chair for Division II. I am grateful to be in such a position, where I get the honor to stand for the wants and needs of those whose voices I represent.
