About Me[edit | edit source]
Shejza Mino graduated from the Doctor of Chiropractic program at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in June of 2020. She is competent in musculoskeletal diagnostics, acute and persistent pain & injury prevention & management, and rehabilitation. Exposure to a multitude of conditions and diverse populations during her internship year has helped her build a solid clinical foundation that she is excited to build upon entering practice in the near future. Additionally, she have a special interest in the active population and sports injury management.
Dr. Mino's personal philosophy as a health care provider is rooted in taking a global, systematic and evidence-based approach in order to help others function optimally while empowering them to be active participants in achieving their health goals. Patient-education and collaboration amongst health care professionals are key components to practicing this philosophy.

- Certified in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture - a global & comprehensive neurofunctional approach utilizing electroacupuncture to stimulate receptor sites locally, segmentally at the spinal cord and supraspinal segments.
- Competent and experienced with spinal and extremity manipulation/mobilization, myofascial release technique (MRT) instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM), Mulligan Concept, shockwave therapy, kinesiology & athletic taping, Laser, therapeutic ultrasound and electrical modalaties (TENS, IFC).
- Champion Performance Specialist – a systematic approach that includes the four basic concepts of movement, mobility, control and load. Specifically, assessing relevant movement patterns, restoring deficient mobility, optimizing control with strength & dynamic stability training and then loading exercises and movement patterns with the goal of enhancing functional strength to build capacity.
