The two areas of physical therapy that interest me the most are pediatrics and the military. This past year I was the director of a Young Athletes program for the Special Olympics in which we worked with intellectually challenged children ages 2-7 on developing skills that hopefully helped them to get a head start to their Special Olympics careers. I have a passion for helping others, especially children. When I graduate from Bellarmine, in May of 2016, I plan on going active duty in either the Navy or the Army. Having the opportunity to help other people regain their functioning and being able to interact with them each and everyday is something that gets me excited. I am a first year physical therapy student at Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky. I graduated from Murray State University in 2013 with a degree in Exercise Science. The two areas of physical therapy that interest me the most are pediatrics and the military. This past year I was the director of a Young Athletes program for the Special Olympics in which we worked with intellectually challenged children ages 2-7 on developing skills that hopefully helped them to get a head start to their Special Olympics careers. I have a passion for helping others, especially children. When I graduate from Bellarmine, in May of 2016, I plan on going active duty in either the Navy or the Army.
