Martina is a Prosthetist / Orthotist (PO) from Australia. Since graduating from La Trobe University, Melbourne in 2005 she has worked in Australia, Singapore and Croatia focusing primarily on amputee rehabilitation and fine tuning her prosthetic fitting and fabrication skills. The vast majority of her career has been devoted to the humanitarian sector, working with organisations such as the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and Humanity and Inclusion (HI) in a number of low and middle income countries including Afghanistan, Ethiopia, Georgia and Libya. In addition to managing projects, providing technical support and hands-on training she is passionate about strengthening interdisciplinary collaboration and knowledge sharing amongst rehabilitation professionals with the ultimate goal of improving access, efficiency and overall quality of services. | |||
