Sport especially football, has always been an important part of my life. Growing up in my neighbourhood, I watched the excitement in young boys during football practice every day, their disappointment and sorrow of missing out following injury. I was determined to be a health practitioner who can treat footballers to make their dreams come true. I have worked at Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching hospital in Nigeria with postings in cardiopulmonary, neuromusculoskeletal in paediatrics, adult and women health in urban, rural and community health settings of the tertiary hospital, and in a private setting for Catholic mission at St Lukes Hospital Anua in Nigeria with Orthopaedics and Sports as my area of expertise. I have been volunteering and gaining experiences in this area for a few years now such as Pegasus club volunteer, Rangers football club,  International Association of Athletic Federation (IAAF) 10km Bronze label road race 2017, FIFA 2018 Russia World cup, and soon Special Olympics World games Abu Dhabi 2019 etc. Having just completed a Master of Science in Orthopaedics and Sport Physiotherapy, the study which will be presented at the 2019 annual FIFA Football Medicine Rehabilitation and Isokinetic conference at Wembley stadium London, I look forward to starting the International doctoral program in Science and Health in Football by the Institute of Sports and Preventive Medicine at Saarland University Germany.<br>
