About Me[edit | edit source]

I am currently in my first year in the Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program at Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky. I have worked as an Activity Based Technician at a spinal cord injury outpatient clinic for over a year now. I was inspired to study Physical Therapy when I first visited this clinic when I observed Technicians, PhysicalTherapists, and Occupational Therapists help patients either get back to their normal routine, improve their quality of life and/or independency. Because working as an Activity Based Technician in a spinal cord unit, I have found a lot of interest in Neurology in addition to my interests in Orthopedics and Sports due to my college athletic career. I hope to work in one of the three areas once I graduate. I am also interested in traveling my first year out of school to work in a variety of settings in different states.
