I am a Physiotherapist from Malaysia. I have a keen interest to build the physiotherapy profession and empowering people through having access to quality information about physiotherapy. Volunteering with Physiopedia has not only helped me in my continuous professional development, it has also inspired me to contribute to the physiotherapy profession alongside a global community of physiotherapists from various backgrounds and experiences.
I am a Physiotherapist, educated and working in my own country, a beautifully diverse part of the world, Malaysia. I joined Physiopedia as a volunteer in 2018 as I was attracted to the work and contribution Physiopedia is making to provide helpful resources on physiotherapy to a global community. When pursuing my degree in physiotherapy, I learnt the importance of keeping myself consistently updated on what's going on in the field, and to learn from experts. The accessibility to resources in Physiopedia had definitely helped me in that. Volunteering had provided a great platform for me to grow and learn alongside many other physiotherapists with various experiences and specialty to share worldwide! Currently, my role is to help Physiopedia edit/review/create new pages. I am now working in a local district hospital in Sabah, Malaysia, leading and managing the physiotherapy department.
