About Me[edit | edit source]
I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Physiotherapy at the University of the Western Cape where I conduct research into the use of emerging technologies to change teaching and learning practices in undergraduate physiotherapy education. My PhD evaluated the use of technology-mediated practices in clinical education, and resulted in the development of a set of design principles for creating blended learning environments. I continue conducting research into the use of digital technology in the classroom and exploring its influence on teacher and student relationships as part of the learning process. I publish and present my research at national and international conferences in both clinical and mainstream education. You can find my research here.
