I am currently a physical therapy student in the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program at Bellarmine University in Louisville, KY. I have been working towards this goal for a few years and am excited to be living my dream. Physical therapy has been a field I have really enjoyed working in for the last three and a half years. My job has given me the opportunity to learn more about the profession and has helped me confirm this is what I want to do for a living. I want more knowledge in the field and know that with the knowledge I gain from this program I will be a great physical therapist. Currently my clinical interest is sports and general orthopedics in an outpatient setting. I would love to be able to work in a sports clinic one day. However, my ultimate goal is to be able to help patients improve their pain, movement, and overall quality of life in whatever clinical setting I find myself.

About Me[edit | edit source]

I am currently a first year student in the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program at Bellarmine University in Louisville, KY. What got me into the field of physical therapy was my interest, curiosity, and love of how the human body works, specifically the mechanics of the muscles, bones, and joints. I have been working towards this goal for a few years and am excited to be living my dream. Physical therapy has been a field I have enjoyed working in for the last three and a half years. My job has given me the opportunity to learn more about the profession and has helped confirm this is what I want to do for a living. I strive for more knowledge in the field and know that with the knowledge I gain from this program I will be a great physical therapist. I have played sports my whole life and been interested in wanting to help athletes recover from injuries. Currently my clinical interest is sports and general orthopedics in an outpatient setting. My dream job would be to work in a sports clinic. However, I have greatly enjoyed working with general orthopedic patients in an outpatient setting. Every day I get to see and help treat patients with different issues from the neck down to the foot. In the end, my ultimate goal is to be able to help patients improve their pain, movement, and overall quality of life in whatever clinical setting I find myself. In my spare time, I like working out, playing volleyball and golf, running, being outside, and spending time with family and friends.
