I am a current graduate student at Bellarmine University as a Doctorate of Physical Therapy student. As a current first year student I have a strong interest in research and intend to assist faculty in their research endeavors. In undergraduate studies I also attended Bellarmine University and received a BA in Exercise Science (Magna Cum laude). In my four years as an undergraduate student I assisted one of my professors in a research study comparing 5k run performance in two different training groups, traditional running vs. cross fit endurance training. In which we tested different training methods in habitual non-elite runners to see effects on performance. In addition I was apart of the ACSM student bowl team that represented Bellarmine in Greenville, SC.

A little background about myself. I grew up in Gilbert, Arizona and got interested in Physical Therapy when I took s few sports medicine classes in high school. I followed this passion to Bellarmine University and throughout my time there was actively working in research studies with my professors. This experience sparked my interest in pursuing research further in graduate school and beyond and is something I am actively pursuing.
