Vicki is the founder and president of ElderFit In Home Rehab- North Carolina, a rehabilitative private practice providing home based therapy and wellness consultation services in Durham, Orange, and Alamance counties for seven years. She has been a board certified Geriatric Clinical Specialist for twelve years. She has been practicing for 25 years and has specialized in working with older adults. She is committed to providing quality rehabilitative and wellness services for older adults in their communities and homes.
Vicki is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the North Carolina Physical Therapy Association (NCPTA). She has participated in patient advocacy activities at the local and national level. She is a recognized expert on Medicare reimbursement and has lectured locally and nationally on reimbursement and wellness practice topics.
Vicki also acts as a consultant for Special Olympics, Inc. She is a part of a team of health professionals who work with the Special Olympics Healthy Athletes program. The mission of Healthy Athletes is to provide free health screenings for individuals with intellectual disabilities during Special Olympics athletic events. Vicki works with FUNfitness, the Physical Therapy screening program. She is responsible for monitoring the implementation and coordination of the FUNfitness programs in the US, Canada, and the Caribbean.
