About Me

Hi, my name is Toral Dave. I completed my Bachelor of Physiotherapy in India, after which I gained one year of clinical experience, six months in inpatient care and six months in outpatient settings. Motivated to further my education, I moved to the UK to pursue a Master’s degree at the University of Nottingham. During this time, I greatly valued the opportunity to develop not only my clinical knowledge but also my non-clinical skills through roles as a Student Ambassador and Course Representative. My dissertation focused on a systematic review exploring the effectiveness of resistance training on fatigue and quality of life in women with ovarian cancer.

Following my MSc, I began working as a Rotational Physiotherapist at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals, where I gained experience across Orthopaedics and Trauma, Acute Therapy, Stroke Units, and MSK outpatient services. After completing my core rotations, I relocated to Liverpool, where I currently work as a static Occupational Health Physiotherapist for the NHS University of Liverpool Hospitals Group.

Alongside my clinical work, I have a strong interest in academia, including teaching and research. During my rotational role, I was selected for the Healthcare Professions Research Chief Nurse Internship Programme, which helped me further develop my critical appraisal, academic writing, and networking skills. I am passionate about delivering evidence-based care and contributing to making physiotherapy education and resources more accessible globally.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, running, and yoga.
